So, today’s New York Times has a funny op-ed by editor Clark Hoyt defending their hiring of fear monger number one Bill Kristol. Mr. Hoyt seems to think that little war-boy Billy will be no worse than Nixon water-carrier William Saffire. Mr. Hoyt types – “Everyone should take a deep breath and calm down. Saffire was greeted with jeers and got off to a rocky start, calling Watergate a “tempest in a Teapot Dome.” Hey, Hoyt, last I checked Watergate didn’t kill thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis for a bullshit neo-con idea.
